Usahawan muda, Dinie Hazwan Ahmad Tajol Aros, berjaya meningkatkan pendapatan perniagaan kecilnya sebanyak 60% setahun, dengan jumlah pendapatan tahunan mencecah RM480,000 melalui penggunaan Penyelesaian Pemasaran Digital Unifi Business. Dinie, yang mengusahakan bengkel kereta di Seremban, Negeri Sembilan sejak Mac 2020, mengakui kehadiran digital yang kukuh dan pemasaran digital yang berkesan memainkan peranan penting bagi kelangsungan perniagaannya.
Menurut Dinie, usahawan perlu mengambil kesempatan dengan menggunakan teknologi terkini dan media sosial bagi membina reputasi syarikat dan memenangi hati pelanggan: “Bengkel saya terletak di kawasan perindustrian di mana terdapat 40 bengkel lain yang menawarkan perkhidmatan yang sama. Kalau bukan melalui media sosial seperti Facebook dan Instagram, bagaimana saya dapat menarik pelanggan dan bersaing dengan peniaga lain? Pengiklanan dan kehadiran digital memang sangat penting. Saya tak boleh hanya mengharapkan bantuan daripada rakan-rakan untuk mempromosikan bengkel saya dari mulut ke mulut. Saya pun tak ramai kenalan,” katanya.
Tambah Dinie, beliau sebelum ini menguruskan sendiri pemasaran bengkelnya, termasuk penciptaan kandungan bagi media sosial, namun menghadapi kesukaran kerana kos pengiklanan yang tinggi dan pengetahuan yang terhad: “Bagi tiga tahun pertama, saya telah membelanjakan dalam RM14,000 setahun untuk kos pengiklanan di beberapa platform media sosial. Walaupun saya telah mengikuti kursus pemasaran digital, masih banyak yang tidak saya fahami, terutamanya mengenai pengurusan bajet. Pengetahuan dari segi reka bentuk grafik dan penulisan iklan saya juga amat terhad.
“Pakej pemasaran digital yang ditawarkan Unifi Business sangat membantu bukan saja kerana jumlah kos pengiklanan yang jauh lebih rendah (RM2,400 setahun), tetapi mereka juga menawarkan perkhidmatan reka bentuk grafik, penulisan iklan dan pengurusan kempen, semuanya di dalam satu pakej. Sekarang saya boleh memberi fokus kepada kerja-kerja di bengkel,” jelas Dinie yang juga aktif memuat naik kandungan berkaitan tip penjagaan kereta dan aktiviti di bengkel beliau di media sosial.
Dinie yang baru berusia 27 tahun, merancang untuk membuka sebuah cawangan di Shah Alam, Selangor pada akhir tahun ini. Beliau juga sedang dalam perbincangan untuk bekerjasama dengan syarikat insurans untuk disenaraikan sebagai salah sebuah bengkel panel yang diberi kuasa bermula pada 2025.

The ESG Association of Malaysia (ESGAM), in partnership with Fortinet Malaysia and Unifi Business, hosted a conference to examine how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices and digital security contribute to the growth and sustainability of Malaysia’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Titled “Unlocking and Securing MSMEs Business Potential,” the half-day event featured 12 industry experts from prominent organisations including Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Affin Bank Berhad, CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd (CTOS), Fortinet Malaysia, and Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI). Among the key topics covered were the adoption of ESG for MSMEs with a focus on cybersecurity, converged security and networking, next-generation solutions, and building MSMEs for sustainable growth.
ESGAM President, Prof. Cheah Kok Hoong, who had the honour to deliver the opening remark, stressed that ESG has become a crucial factor for business sustainability and success in today’s competitive market, particularly for those aiming to enter the global arena. He said many countries and international markets have stringent regulations regarding ESG practices and that compliance with these regulations is essential for market entry and to avoid legal penalties.
“Given the low percentage of ESG readiness and compliance among MSMEs, the government has introduced various initiatives through multiple agencies to promote and enhance awareness of ESG practices. This includes efforts by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), MDEC, and the Securities Commission of Malaysia to raise awareness among MSMEs on ESG practices. Hopefully, together we can move the needle,” added Cheah.
Cybersecurity, a vital element of ESG, particularly within the social and governance frameworks, was a central topic of discussion at the conference. TM’s Chief Information Security Officer, Raja Azrina Raja Othman, a featured speaker at the event, offered her insights on Malaysia's cybersecurity landscape and highlighted cybersecurity measures that MSMEs should practice to safeguard themselves against the rising and increasingly sophisticated threat of cyberattacks, particularly ransomware. She stressed that investing in cybersecurity tools, such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), is significantly more cost-effective than paying for ransom, which can exacerbate the rampant cases of ransomware.
Meanwhile, Unifi Business Vice President Mohamad Yusman Ammeran, also a speaker at the event, discussed digital transformation and the next-generation solutions offered by the brand to allow MSMEs to manage their businesses effectively while complying with ESG practices.
Over 100 firms from the medium segment attended the event, which took place on 20 August at Menara Affin. Unifi Business, dedicated to supporting MSME growth through innovative solutions, is actively organizing and collaborating with industry leaders and government agencies to host events and programs designed to empower MSMEs.

Pengusaha syarikat kawalan serangga dan makhluk perosak mencatatkan peningkatan pendapatan sebanyak 100% sebulan selepas mengiklankan syarikat beliau menggunakan Penyelesaian Pemasaran Digital Unifi Business, di samping aktif di media sosial. Pemilik syarikat yang berusia lebih tiga dekad itu mengakui kepentingan pemasaran dan kehadiran digital dalam membina imej syarikat dan seterusnya meraih keyakinan pelanggan terhadap kualiti perkhidmatan yang diberikan.
Tineshwara Rao, yang membantu ayahnya menguruskan perniagaan, mendedahkan mereka hanya menerima kurang daripada 10 pelanggan seminggu sebelum menggunakan Penyelesaian Pemasaran Digital Unifi Business. Katanya, keadaan ini berterusan selama beberapa tahun sehingga memaksa beliau meninggalkan kerjaya sebagai chef dan memberi tumpuan sepenuhnya untuk menyelamatkan perniagaan keluarganya yang semakin merosot.
“Kami akui industri yang kami ceburi sangat mencabar terutamanya dengan bilangan pesaing yang tinggi dan peraturan ketat yang dikenakan kerajaan. Pada masa yang sama, agak sukar untuk kami memperoleh kepercayaan pengguna yang kebanyakannya mempunyai pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang terhad tentang kawalan serangga dan makhluk perosak. Terdapat juga kes-kes penipuan dilaporkan di mana syarikat yang diupah tidak menggunakan bahan kimia yang sepatutnya. Oleh itu, kami cuba untuk lebih aktif di media sosial untuk mendidik dan meyakinkan pengguna mengenai perkhidmatan yang kami tawarkan, selain memberi lebih keutamaan kepada pemasaran digital,” jelas beliau.
Menurut Tineshwara, dengan dana syarikat yang terhad, beliau terpaksa bergantung pada alat digital percuma seperti Canva dan ChatGPT untuk menghasilkan kandungan media sosial dan iklan digital: “Pada awalnya, semua hal berkaitan penciptaan kandungan dan strategi kempen pemasaran saya uruskan sendiri walaupun tidak mempunyai pengetahuan dalam bidang tersebut. Kami juga memperuntukkan RM300 sebulan untuk pengiklanan syarikat di media sosial. Namun, jumlah pelanggan yang diterima tidak banyak berubah. Oleh sebab itu, apabila Unifi Business menawarkan Penyelesaian Pemasaran Digital dengan bayaran RM50 hingga RM200 sebulan, kami tidak teragak-agak untuk mencuba,” tambah beliau.
Dengan strategi kempen pengiklanan yang lebih fokus dan terancang, perniagaan keluarga Tineshwara kini mencatatkan pendapatan bulanan yang jauh lebih tinggi dan stabil: “Di Pulau Pinang sahaja, jumlah pelanggan kami telah mencecah 800 sebulan. Kami juga menerima permintaan daripada pelanggan di negeri lain termasuk Kedah, Perlis, Perak, Selangor, dan Kuala Lumpur. Dengan jumlah pelanggan yang meningkat di pelbagai negeri, kami merancang untuk membuka cawangan di Lembah Klang di samping menambah tenaga kerja dan peralatan di Pulau Pinang,” kata Tineshwara.
