Unifi Business and TNG Digital have announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating 5G adoption and enhancing the eWallet experience for Malaysia’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

As part of the partnership, Unifi Business and TNG Digital are launching a dedicated campaign offering exclusive UNI5G Postpaid Biz packages, together with UNI5G-powered Touch ‘n Go eWallet Soundbox, to over 1 million MSMEs nationwide. The offer, which includes complimentary 5G-enabled devices, will provide businesses in the MSME segment with secure and high-speed connectivity and eWallet services, enhancing their operational efficiency and customer engagement. To officiate the partnership, a memorandum of understanding was exchanged between Unifi Business General Manager of Fixed Mobile Convergence, Kelvin Lee, and TNG Digital Head of Product Marketing, Emilio Sta Maria at the Setapak Unifi Store on 1 October 2024. The event was witnessed by Unifi Business Vice President, Mohamad Yusman Ammeran, and TNG Digital’s Head of Merchant Services, Freddie Lee.

Representing Unifi’s Chief Commercial Officer for Consumer Strategy and Business, Shanti Jusnita Johari, Mohamad Yusman said the integration of UNI5G Biz with TNG Digital’s eWallet Soundbox offers the best 5G mobile and eWallet bundle in the market, enhancing digital payments and enabling seamless mobility to improve customer experiences.

“In addition to digital payments, UNI5G Biz supports a suite of digital offerings, including digital marketing, cloud storage, e-commerce Hub, and cybersecurity,” said Mohamad Yusman, adding that Unifi is also certified to disseminate the government’s Geran Digital PMKS Madani (GDPM), making its solutions accessible to businesses of all sizes in the MSME segment.
